Scott Jerbi
Senior Advisor, Policy
Scott has nearly three decades of experience working in the field of human rights with the United Nations, and in academic and civil society roles. His published work focuses on public-private standard setting and multistakeholder governance initiatives addressing human rights challenges.
Current work
In addition to his work with the Centre, Scott is a Senior Advisor at the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB). Based in the United States, Scott supports CSHR’s policy development, communications and engagement with governments, UN agencies, businesses, academic institutions and civil society organisations around the world.
Previous experience
Scott worked from 1997 to 2002 in the Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva where his duties included development of the Office’s policies and interactions with the private sector. From 2002 to 2010, he served as Senior Advisor to former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and current CSHR Patron, Mary Robinson.
