Global Sport and Human Rights Research Network
The Centre for Sport and Human Rights launched the Global Sport and Human Rights Research Network (GSHRRN) in 2024, in collaboration with T.M.C. Asser Institute acting as Secretariat of the Network.
Research institutions and academics are an important part of the Sports Ecosystem and can help drive positive change through conducting research and spreading knowledge on sport and human rights. Through the GSHRRN we try to bridge the gap between research and practice in the area of sport and human rights and connect researchers with those working in this field in practice. We work with our stakeholders and the Network to
- identify knowledge gaps and make available ideas for high-impact research to the research community
- seek and share opportunities with our network members to collaborate on
- disseminate research amongst the Network and the wider Sports Ecosystem
