Current work

As an engagement and partnership coordinator, Marie is responsible for engaging with and developing collaboration opportunities with external actors, including sport federations, broadcasters, international organisations and civil society. She is also overseeing or supporting research and capacity-building projects, including training programmes and tools.  

Previous Experience

Prior to joining the Centre, Marie has worked as a legal advisor and project lead for several non-governmental organisations, coordinating projects related to policy-making, criminal and open source investigation, skill-sharing, and transnational justice. She has developed her legal and research expertise in different contexts, both at a global and regional level, with a focus on Ethiopia, South Sudan, Western Africa, and South-East Asia. Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva and the Australian National University, complemented with an Accelerated Swiss Law program. She also graduated from the University of Amsterdam with an L.L.M in Public International Law.
