Marie Porchet
Marie is an international law professional specialised in human rights and humanitarian law, with experience working in the business and human rights field.
Current work
As the Programmes and Partnerships Coordinator, Marie supports the Head of Partnerships & Institutional Affairs to build new relationships and collaboration opportunities with external actors and strengthen existing partnerships and initiatives by delivering and executing or supporting projects related to research, policy- making, education and capacity-building.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining the Centre, Marie has worked as a legal advisor and project lead for several non-governmental organisations, coordinating projects related to policy-making, criminal and open source investigation, skill-sharing, and transnational justice. She has developed her legal and research expertise in different contexts, both at a global and regional level, with a focus on Ethiopia, South Sudan, Western Africa, and South-East Asia.
Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva and the Australian National University, complemented with an Accelerated Swiss Law program. She also graduated from the University of Amsterdam with an L.L.M in Public International Law.
