Further Update Statement from the FIFA Human Rights Advisory Board

FIFA's Human Rights Advisory Board summarises its latest trip to Qatar to ascertain the progress and challenges connected to preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2022. The Board emphasised to the Supreme Committee the importance of the ILO’s agreement with the government to strengthen labour standards across the country. The Board will work on a number of specific recommendations to FIFA and report publicly on these in early 2019.
