European Broadcasting Union Joins Forces With the Centre For Sport And Human Rights

The Centre for Sport and Human Rights (CSHR) is pleased to announce that the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has joined CSHR’s multi-stakeholder network working to advance responsible sport.

The EBU is the world’s foremost alliance of Public Service Media, representing over a hundred organizations worldwide. They strive to secure a sustainable future for Public Service Media, provide their Members with world-class content through their Eurovision and Euroradio properties and build on their founding ethos of solidarity and co-operation to create a centre for learning and sharing.

The EBU will collaborate with CSHR’s growing network of Engaged Organisations and partners to play a part in promoting and upholding human rights in the world of sport, and work to influence practices on responsible sport broadcasting ensuring they align with human rights standards.

Engaged Organisations participate in CSHR’s activities globally, and contribute to the growth of the sport and human rights movement.
